Register your product and we add 3 months of coverage — 15 months in total. Registration also routes you to priority support, and unlocks the free iContact Control App. It works wherever you bought the camera.
A fault means a replacement, not a refund
If your product is defective within the warranty period, we replace it with the same product, or a comparable model if the original is no longer available. We cover shipping both ways.
How a claim works
- Contact us first. Email support@icontactcamera.com with your order number and a description of the problem. Do not ship anything before contacting us — parcels without a return number cannot be matched to an order.
- We diagnose it with you, usually over email in a few minutes. Many reported faults turn out to be a USB hub, an operating system permission, or the camera arm being folded up — all fixed without shipping anything.
- If it looks like a genuine fault, we authorise the return and provide a return number and prepaid label.
- We inspect the unit on arrival and confirm the fault before shipping your replacement.
Worth trying before you claim
Most cameras returned as faulty are working. Two minutes here often saves a week of shipping:
- The camera does not appear at all — usually the arm, or a USB hub
- The picture flickers, freezes or drops out — almost always USB power
- The picture is soft or blurry — usually lighting, or a meeting app compressing the video
Not covered
- Liquid exposure or water damage
- Drops, impact or crushing
- Cosmetic wear that does not affect function
- Damage from unauthorised modification or repair
- Normal consumable wear
If inspection finds no fault
We will tell you what we found. You may have the unit repaired at cost or returned to you unrepaired. Where a unit is returned as faulty but found to be damaged through use or working normally, we may charge for inspection and return shipping.
Your statutory rights
Nothing here limits your statutory consumer rights. EU and UK consumers have a minimum two-year legal guarantee of conformity and a 14-day right to cancel a distance purchase. In Australia, our goods come with guarantees that cannot be excluded under the Australian Consumer Law.
