Download and install
- Go to the iContact Control App download page and choose the macOS version. You will be asked to sign in or create a free account first.
- Open the downloaded file and drag iContact Control into your Applications folder.
- Open the app from Applications.
Grant permission the first time
macOS blocks camera and microphone access until you allow it. This is the most common reason the app opens but shows no video.
- Open System Settings then Privacy & Security.
- Select Camera and switch on iContact Control.
- Go back and select Microphone, and switch on iContact Control.
- Quit the app completely and reopen it.
If macOS blocks the app from opening
If you see a message that the app cannot be opened, open System Settings then Privacy & Security, scroll down, and choose Open Anyway.
Still not working?
Plug the camera directly into your Mac rather than a hub or dock, then reopen the app. If it still does not appear, email support@icontactcamera.com.
