Our iContact Camera webcams are designed to work with most screen sizes. Where the arm sits relative to your screen matters less than where you place your video call windows — the goal is to have your eyes land close to the lens.
If the arm feels too long
Our iContact Camera webcams are designed to work with most screen sizes. If the camera arm feels long, especially on laptops, try adjusting your video call layout by placing the small video window (e.g., the person you’re speaking with) at the top of your screen. This helps align your eyes with the camera, improving eye contact and overall communication during calls.
If the arm feels too short
For larger monitors, we recommend positioning your video call windows on the right side of the screen to better align the camera with the person you’re speaking to, improving eye contact and communication.
We understand that getting used to this new layout may take a little time, but you’ll soon see the difference in your video call experience.
