No. The Pro Series is designed to operate with the camera arm lowered.
Secure Switch
When the arm is folded up, Secure Switch physically cuts power to the camera and microphones. Not a software setting, not a lens cover — the circuit is open.
Lower the arm to turn the camera and microphones back on.
Why this matters
It gives you visible, hardware-level privacy. You can see at a glance whether the camera can see you, and no application can override it.
It is also the single most common reason a camera does not appear in Zoom or Teams. If your camera is missing, check the arm first.
